Seattle The Artist's Way June Meeting

Please bring something inspirational to share: a new thought, poem, drawing, idea, or a passage from the book that jumped out at you. For the last month we had a wonderful discussions about affirmations we have been providing or want to provide for ourselves and about challenging ourselves. If anyone would like to show some of their art we welcome it: one member shared "art cards" that had their name and address plus some of their art on the back...

This time we thought we'd work with a hands on material as well as discuss: bring an extra dollar if you'd like to work with air-dry clay!

We are a group of people meeting regularly to discuss our progress with <The Artists' Way > guided reading and to uncover our blocks and generally inspire each other! We will work on other of Julia Cameron's books in the future: come one, come all who are eager to work and discuss in community about making art of all kinds part of our lives!

We meet monthly to work on the book together and welcome individuals to show a few examples of their work or lead an exercise:

: please wear or bring something orange if we are meeting in a public place- look for my orange sign and try to wearing or bring something orange so we can all find each other!

We welcome anyone who is serious about trying to make art a part of their lives, who is not afraid to fail and start over, who sees the Artist's Way work as an ongoing journey rather than a task to finish, and who appreciates the support and collaboration of others in the process of discussing and becoming inspired by art!
You'll love it because you just might find a buddy at your level or in your art area of interest to confer with or keep you going; cause we give each other reasons not to give up on making art a part of our lives; and because it gives you a great reason to get up and get your month started out right, with intention and purpose!!!
