Some of the art societies are a bit stuffy. I would like to start a group that has amateur artists and appreciators of art who can meet up to visit art exhibitions, galleries, museums and maybe hold art days. Perhaps a group of us could hire a studio/room or whatever. Maybe some of us could hold joint exhibitions of our work to reduce costs?
