Work on your social and dating skills with us. Our meetups include presentations from world-reknowned dating coaches. At the tailend we have optional field trips, in which we go to public venues, meet people, interact and get useful feedback that helps us all improve our social skills -- especially with women. We have members who are as old as the most senior of senior citizens, but you must be at least 18 years old to join. We are also lucky enough to have contributing female members.

This is a very casual, fun knitting, crochet and spinning meetup for fiber artists in the North Austin, Round Rock and Pflugerville areas. Thursday night is a great time to decompress, destress and get ready for the weekend! All experience levels are welcome. What is lifedrawing? It is the artistic study of the nude human figure from observation of a live model.   In my opinion, it is the best way to learn how to draw. The studios I post meet at either the Dougherty Arts Center or at the Austin Visual Arts Association. Tuesday and Thursday morning figure drawing studios from 9:30 am to 12:30 require an RSVP. Austin Urban Sketchers was formed as a way for artists to get together and draw our city. This group was inspired by Urban Sketchers.org, an international organization that gathers people to draw and tell the visual stories they observe on location. The Austin Writers Roulette features a different monthly theme and line up of artists who love to perform their original written works such as poetry, essays, spoken word, singer-songwriting, or excerpts from novels. Artists also have the opportunity to set up a vendor table at the roulette. Although the roulette is not an open mic, interested artists who would like to read for an upcoming event should first attend a roulette. And of course, performance art lovers are always welcome!
